Warren Buffet impressed with Estonia’s achievements. The group of US hedge fund managers, including Warren Buffet, made a brief stop in Tallinn yesterday after their Asia tour. After meeting with government and Central Bank leaders, Mr Buffet stated that Estonia should be set as an example for the rest of Europe by its fiscal credibility and the way the country handled the crises. In addition he was impressed by the business model and management of Tallink (Buy), though claimed the leverage was a bit high for him and said that Tallinna Kaubamaja (Buy) would be the investment of his taste. He also encouraged the country to list further assets on the stock markets and indicated interest in the Eesti Energia IPO.
