Mis toimub Lätis?

Kui Läti Keskpank suudab kurssi hoida, siis kõik kes müüsid LVL'i alla ametliku kursi, saavad kahju.

jah, arvan et need kes siis LVL ostsid ja panid nad deposiiti on üks väheseid investeerimisgruppe, kes teenib raha Lätis käesoleval aastal. Hansabanka LVL-deposiidiintress 12 kuud endiselt 5,80%. Garantii aga muidugi pole.

Küll tuleb kinnisvara ja majanduse langus/krahh 2007 aastal, aga LVL odavalt müümine oleks vaid vähestele abiks.
Ma olen enam kui kindel, et Läti ei muuda LVL ametlikku kurssi. Et nad seda teeks, peaksid neil eelkõige valuutatagavarad otsa lõppema või siis Läti parlamendis rumalad ja populistlikud jõud enamuse saama.

Kas Läti valitsus ja keskpank eitavad kategooriliselt lati devalveerimise vajadust?

Property market takes a breath
Over the past few weeks real estate market has actually slowed right down due to governmental actions and ideas, that will hopefully curb the current inflation levels. The number of offers on the real estate market has doubled while prices in some sectors of housing have slightly fallen. This has created many worries that some more drastic changes will happen in the near future,” said Ugis Stipnieks from real estate developer Parkhaus. The government has put into its motions for curbing inflation just at the time when the real estate market was actually stabilising itself. Experts had pointed to this fact, but nobody listened to their views on the subject.

Seda on natuke vähem kui eelmisel kvartalil ja ühtlasi avaldas Läti keskpank lootust, et tulevikus näeme sellest vaid väiksemaid numbreid.

Compared to May of the previous year, industrial production output in May 2007 rose by 3.4%, according to seasonally adjusted data

Foreign trade of Latvia in May 2007
Compared to the April 2007, the value of exports in May 2007 increased by 7.8% or 25.4 mln lats, but in comparison with May 2006 it increased by 27.2 % or 74.9 mln lats, reaching 350.1mln lats, according to Central Statistical Bureau data.


The value of imports in May 2007 was, in turn, 6.3% or 39.5 mln lats higher than in April 2006, but 21.1% or 115.5 mln last higher compared to May 2006, reaching 662.8 mln lats.

For the first time after the consistent price growth that lasted for years, the real estate company LATIO has acknowledged fall of the average price of standard type apartments in Riga residential districts. During May the average price has fallen for about 1%, standing at 1 709 EUR/m2. Basing on the information provided by the biggest real estate portals, Nams24 including, LATIO emphasizes that in May considerable increase in apartment supply has been witnessed.
