ABN Amro declines comment until ‘later’ on possible Enron exposure
AMSTERDAM (AFX) - ABN Amro Holding NV spokesman Martin Winn declined to comment until “later” on reports the bank is among the lenders involved in financing troubled US energy group Enron Corp’s 3 bln usd Indian power project and other projects.
The spokesman could not say whether the company will comment as early as today, amid reports the company is set to issue a press release about it, due to the size of the loan.
