Eilsetest uudistest omas enim kaalu MF Globali saaga, kellele sai saatuslikuks Eurooap võlakriisis. NYT kirjutas eile, et firmast on viimastel päevadel läinud kaduma sadu miljardeid dollareid ja selle uurimiseks on algatatud juurdlus.
What began as nearly $1 billion missing had dropped to less than $700 million by late Monday. It is unclear where the money went, and some money is expected to trickle in over the coming days as the firm sorts through the bankruptcy process, the people said.
But regulators are examining whether MF Global diverted some customer money to support its own trades as the firm teetered on the brink of collapse. If that was the case, it could violate a fundamental tenet of Wall Street regulation: Customers’ money must be kept separate from company money.
Aasia sessioonil oli fookuses Austraalia keskpank, kes langetas tänasel kohtumisel intressimäärasid 25 baaspunkti võrra 4,5% peale. Tänane otsus oli ühtlasi ka ootuspärane. Austraalia dollar täna jätkuva surve all ja kaupleb USD vastu juba üle 1% miinuspoolel $1,0410 juures. Austraalia dollarile ja riskisentimendile üldisemalt on negatiivset mõju avaldamas ka täna ilmunud Hiina PMI tootmisindeks, mis langes eelmise kuu 51,2 pealt 50,4 punkti peale oktoobris.
Tänastest makronäitajatest on avaldamisel veel Suurbritannia majahindade andmed, Šveitsi septembrikuu jaemüügi tulemused ja SVME PMI indeks, Saksamaa, eurotsooni ja Suurbritannia PMI tootmisindeksid, Suurbritannia III kvartali SKT tulemused ja USA sessioonil ehituskulutuste andmed ning ISM tootmisindeks.
Euroopa ja USA indeksite futuurid kauplevad hetkel 0,6-1,45% miinuspoolel. Euro on samuti jätkamas eile alanud langust, kaubeldes dollari vastu 0,5% madalamal $1,3790 juures.
Täna survestab turge ka Kreeka peaministri George Papandreou plaan panna Euroopa Liidu poolt antav päästepakett ja sellega kaasnevad eelarvekärped referendumile. Stoxx Europe 600 indeks on kauplemas ca 2,6% miinuses ning antud indeksis olev pangandussektori aktsiate indeks on 4,6% madalamal. Itaalia 10-aastase võlakirja tulusus on selle peale tõusmas, olles 6,2% juures.
Parandus: Saksamaa ja eurotsooni PMI tootmisindeksid avaldatakse homme.
Täna avaldati aga Suurbritannia PMI tootmisindeks, mis langes eelmise kuu 51,1 pealt 47,4 punktini oktoobris (oodati 50,0). Seevastu üllatas positiivselt III kvartali SKT tulemused, mis näitasid eelmise kvartali võrraldes 0,5% kasvu vs oodatud 0,3% ja aastases lõikes samuti 0,5% kasvu vs oodatud 0,4%. GBPUSD kaupleb 0,9% miinuspoolel $1,5935 juures.

Six deputies of the ruling socialist Pasok party of Prime Minister Papandreou will not vote to accept this Friday a referendum in January on yes-no vote to the agreed austerity plan with Europe
Six members of the party called on the PM to resign in a joint letter
Papandreou would only control 151 seats in the 300 seat parliament
It is expected without these votes the government of Papandreous will be forced to call early elections before the new. The government will be forced to call early elections and a high probability that Papandreous will not win and that a new coalition government will be formed. This may be in the next 30 days possibly
This will reduce the fear of a rejection by the Greek population of the agreed austerity program, Greece exiting the Euro and a disorderly default in 2012 and its consequences on Europe
