During the first 6 months of this year, the company earned 1.1 million euros net profit, while in the same period last year suffered a loss of 2.2 million euros. EBITDA ratio during this half year reached 1.8 million euros, compared to a loss of 0.8 million euros in the same period last year. While comparing these profitability indicators with the same period of 2019, the results achieved back then were more modest, EBITDA amounted to 1.7 million euros, and net profit reached 0.4 million euros. During the first half of 2021 the supply of holiday destinations available gradually became similar to the usual one of the pre-pandemic years.

Lisaks pannakse alates septembrist käima Portugali, Hispaania ja Itaalia liin. Edasine sõltub firma sõnul vaktsineerimise kiirusest ja riikide tegevusest.

"While presenting the results of the first half of the year to the investors, we have forecasted that we will start the third quarter with the number of 20 thousand travelers served each month group-wide. We have achieved this goal in July, and we are only by 17% behind if compared to the same month of pre-pandemic 2019. When monitoring the dynamics of sales, it is likely that we will achieve such results in August as well. These are really gratifying results, especially considering that this year still fewer holiday destinations are available for the travelers to choose from. We have to bear in mind that at the moment sightseeing trips are also organized on a small scale, currently only one or two-day trips around Lithuania. But from August we are planning to actively expand the supply of sightseeing tours across the European countries”, says Audronė Keinytė, head of “Novaturas” Group.

The leading tour operator in the Baltic States “Novaturas” resumes flight programs to Italian and French skiing resorts already this year. Flights will be operated once a week from all Baltic countries.

In Estonia, flights to Italian ski resorts are planned in the first days of December 2021. Planes from Lithuania and Latvia to Italy and France will take off a month later - from January 2022. Although the skiing program totals as relatively small part of the winter holiday season - around 9%, but it is a product with a distinguished circle of clients. We have opened skiing early bookings just yesterday, and today we are already working with both individual reservations and group inquiries,” says Audronė Keinytė, head of “Novaturas” group.
